Texas Long Horn Cattle is a rare breed known obviously for its really long horns. Their long horns can extend up to 7 feet tip to tip. Long horn cattle of Spanish origin when auctioned, they go for anywhere from $30,000 to $150,000. City of Forth Worth, Texas showcases these twice daily. It is worth checking out if you are in the neighborhood.
I was drawn to it simply due to the uniqueness. I kept asking why would they have such long horns? I don’t think there is any reason, it is just a creation of nature. They do use their long horns to scratch themselves, makes it easier to scratch, I suppose.
Whatever may have been the reason, the long horn characteristic does make them stand out from the rest of the cattle breed. In quite such similar ways, some humans have a natural gift or charm or charisma that makes them stand out.
