Tandoori Roti

Roti is a traditional Indian bread that most of us make fresh daily at home. I tried this not so commonly made version of it last week. This bread is baked in the oven at broiler setting and is easier to make as compared to the traditional roti. The difference lies in how you knead the dough…For this one, you need to knead it with club soda which makes it softer and helps it rise in the oven. Let the kneaded dough sit for couple of hours before you start to make the tandoori roti.

Enjoy this roti with dal makhani or saag.
