Making Dal

masoor-dalOver the past two days, my mom taught me how to make dal, which is kind of like an Indian soup. I learned how to make arhar dal, masoor dal, and dal makhani. Arhar dal by far was the easiest to make and took the least time. Dal makhani takes the most time, but is the most tasty. Dal makhani is often served at big functions and is very popular. Dal is a very tasty and easy thing to make. All you need is the dal, some masalawater, onions and tomatoes.
